ROTC Building Programming
This group project was a semester-long assignment in which we were given a real client. Our task was to design a new building for our school's ROTC program, which has not been renovated since it was originally an orphanage. We took into account considerations of function, aesthetics, and the needs of the users throughout the design process.
Included in this assignment are the programming schedule, data collection methodology, image search, criteria matrix, client needs, issues and goals, bubble diagrams, proposed floor plan, prototypical sketches, renderings, annotated bibliography, and more.

Use a range of two- and three-dimensional design solutions using a variety of media.
Demonstrates the ability to apply space planning techniques to solve design problems, synthesize information, use precedents, explore ideas, and create effective solutions through all stages of the design process.
Surf Retail Shop
This project centered on commercial interiors, allowing me the flexibility to select any type of commercial building based on a provided floor plan. I chose to focus on a surf shop located in South Padre Island, Texas. A key aspect of the design process was ensuring compliance with local regulations and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
Included in this assignment are the store classification, principal goal, design goals, concept statement, merchandise approach, sustainability and security considerations, code requirements, circulation, mood boards, floor plan, electrical plan, and renderings.
Demonstrate the ability to apply sustainability and wellness standards, sector-specific regulations for construction and materials, federal, state, and local codes (including fire and life safety), and barrier-free accessibility guidelines.
